Prepare For The Future
The Arc Northwest Mississippi is excited to continue the growth of our Job Readiness Program to help individuals ages 14 -21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain the skills needed to be successful employees.

We teach under 5 different categories:
-
Career Exploration
-
Workplace Readiness Training
-
Work-Based Learning Experiences
-
Self-Advocacy Training
-
Post-Secondary Education Training

Each category will allow your child to learn critical life and work skills that will assist them in living a more independent life and becoming more successful in the workforce.

Our 2024-2025 classes will be held in many formats to meet the needs of our students: virtually with live instruction at a scheduled class time and in person classes held at our office or at your child's school.

The Arc NWMS believes that ALL people deserve the opportunity to work. We are proud to offer classes to students of all support levels and needs:
-
Community-Based Classes (High Support)
-
Inclusion Classes (Medium Support)
-
College Bound and College Level (Advanced Class) with individual customized lessons available.

Please allow us the opportunity to assist your child in preparing, planning, and making informed decisions in order to enter the workforce.
