Arc NWMS Program Volunteer Opportunities
Weekly Volunteers Needed
- Social Clubs - For individuals from age five through adults who could use a little help socializing with peers. This is an opportunity to meet with a small group in a low pressure setting. Social Clubs for different age groups happen once a week most months.
- SuperABLE - Our goal is to have individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families exercising alongside their typical peers. The class is lead by Eric Cook from Xpress Fitness in Olive Branch, MS. Eric has his Master's Degree in Health and Sports Science. He is amazing! Class is for all ages and meets every Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00.

- Parent Support Group - The Arc Northwest Mississippi strives to assist our community by offering support groups and engaging speakers to address topics of interest for our members.
- Mommy & Me Program- The Mommy & Me program would be designed to support families with children 2 to 5 years of age. We want to allow parents to connect with other moms, decompress, and have moments of relaxation while their kids are in a safe place engaging in play with others. Friday Mornings

Participants share the highs and lows of living with a person with an intellectual or developmental disability. **Volunteers for this club limited to siblings of individuals with disabilities that are Middle School age and above*
